Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible for Sightsavers India Fellowship 2024, an applicant must:-
hold a postgraduate degree (MS) or diploma (DNB/DO) in Ophthalmology from a recognized institute/university in India
possess a strong foundation in clinical ophthalmology
demonstrate a strong commitment to lifelong learning, adaptability, professional ethics, and emotional resilience
Benefits
The selected students for Sightsavers India Fellowship 2024 will receive the benefits as follows:-
- For the initial four-month training period: ₹35,000 per month
- For the first year of field posting: ₹65,000 per month
- For the second year of field posting: ₹75, 000 per month
Upon successful completion of the program, fellows will receive a lump-sum payment at the end of the first and second year. Additionally, medical, accident, term life, and professional indemnity insurance will be provided throughout the fellowship.

Selection Criteria
