NSP Scholarship 2.0 Portal: The National Scholarship Portal (NSP) 2.0 portal is a updated platform with an updated web version now. It features a redesigned homepage along with several new features. It has now been made live and accessible to the public. Newly added features allow students to register online for OTR on the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) conveniently.

The National Scholarship Portal (NSP) offer the various scholarship schemes including state-level, centre-level, and UGC scholarship schemes. NSP Scholarship 2024-25 Apply Online process has opened for Both Fresh & Renewal. Students who want to register for Pre-Matric and Post-Matric scholarships for academic year 2024-25 can register through National Scholarship Portal 2024-25 at – scholarships.gov.in

NSP One Time Registration (OTR)?

OTR is the One Time Registration, it is a unique 14-digit number issued based on the Aadhaar/Aadhaar Enrolment ID (EID). This number simplifies the scholarship application process and helps eliminate the need for registration each academic year.

How to Get One Time Registration (OTR)?

Students who completed the OTP based eKYC will have the reference number, they need to complete the face authentication to obtain the OTR number. Follow the below steps to generate the OTR number:

Download the AadhaarFaceRD and NSP OTR app through the Play Store.

Open the NSP OTR app and select the ‘eKYC with FaceAuth’.

Now, enter the reference number and in case reference is not available use ‘forgot reference number’ to recover it.

Enter the reference number and click on ‘Send OTP’.

Fill in the OTP and Captcha code.

Click on the ‘Next’ button.

On the next screen, click on the “Proceed for Face Authentication” button.

UIDAI AadhaarFaceRD services will be invoked for face authentication. (Make sure AadhaarFaceRD services are preinstalled).

After the successful completion of authentication, the OTR number will be generated.

National Scholarship Portal 2024 Registration

Students who want to register at NSP 2024-25, need to follow the given steps to complete the NSP new registration online. Check the NSP Registration 2024-25 through the National Scholarship Portal here.

1. Visit the official NSP 2024-25 portal: scholarships.gov.in.
2. On the homepage, click on the “New Registration” tab available in the applicant corner.
3. A new page will open. Read all the instructions given on the page carefully and click on ‘continue’ to proceed.
4. A new NSP registration form 2024-25 will appear on the screen.
5. Fill the basic details such as state of domicile, Student name, scholarship category, date of birth and bank account details.
6. Click on the register to submit the details.
7. The NSP student login details like application number and password will be sent on the registered mobile number.
